The Canadian Professional Disc Jockey Association (CPDJA) is a not-for-profit corporation that represents disc jockey (DJ) membership from across Canada. With the support of an administration team, it is managed and led by a volunteer Executive Committee, volunteer Regional Team Leaders and a member-voted volunteer Board of Directors.

Our mission is to promote professionalism in the disc jockey service industry by inspiring all DJs through education, networking and support. We strive to help our members maintain the highest standards of service to consumers in planning, organizing and coordinating the use of the services of our professional membership.

In addition to providing a great community for Canadian DJs to come together and share ideas and learn with one another, we also provide access to affordable licenses from CONNECT Music Licensing and comprehensive property and commercial liability insurance.

The organization also host events from coast to coast that encourage the growth of all members through support by fellow members and a variety of educational topics, resources and events.

The CPDJA helps consumers by providing an online registry of DJ entertainers across Canada. Consumers can have peace of mind knowing that all CPDJA members must follow a Code of Ethics and Mandatory Standards and Practices.

The CPDJA is a founding member and active Board Member of the Canadian Entertainment Standards Council (CESC) and supports the Industry Standards and Practices recommended and approved by the Council.
